As the sun starts shining through the blinds, I wake up and get ready for my day with a cup of coffee. After a generous breakfast, it’s time to go to work. Glad for the flexibility of remote work, I avoid a long commute and take only a few steps to my home office.
It’s 9:00 a.m. and I start the day by going through my to-do list. As a Product Manager, it’s crucial to create and maintain a backlog of tasks for the team to work on. It's time for a sprint planning session to discuss what’s ahead and make sure everyone is on the same page. It’s a collaborative effort, and I thrive on the energy of aligning our goals. After that, I have a meeting with stakeholders. I share our progress, answer questions, and we work together to solve any problems. I like the challenge of keeping everyone informed and involved.
It’s lunchtime, and I’m preparing lunch from Hellofresh. It makes me happy and ready to get back to work. In the afternoon, I switch gears to focus on my team. Whether it’s a one-on-one or a quick session to solve a technical issue, supporting their growth and success is a responsibility I take seriously. As the day ends, I make sure everything is ready for the next release. It’s the culmination of our hard work, and there’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of a successful launch.
It’s now time to leave the office and have some fun. You’ll find me meticulously painting Warhammer figures or going to a tournament. Occasionally, you can look up and see me paragliding and embracing the freedom of the skies. And when the friends come together, nothing beats an evening of board games.
