Branchspace expands leadership team to continue its rapid growth

Branchspace lays the foundations to continue its growth story on transforming digital commerce for travel.

In its 2021 report, Financial Times ranked Branchspace in the top third of its FT1000 Europe's fastest growing companies, recognising fast-paced disruptors. We are currently implementing our Triplake platform with a European national airline, bringing step change in the technology tools available for retailing travel across the globe. Coupled with our consultancy services and our team's deep experience in the complex airline and travel space we are in a unique position to create best in class customer experiences and digital capabilities to help airlines, airports, rail, cruise companies and other travel stakeholders to differentiate and succeed in the current dynamic environment.

Since inception, Branchspace has built an exceptionally talented and diverse team of eCommerce platform technologists, travel industry experts, software engineers and UX/UI designers. We are now re-enforcing our team and creating robust leadership structures on the way to becoming a global leader in travel retail. We are extremely delighted to announce that Ursula Silling will join us as our CEO from today, 7th October, to lead Branchspace on its next stage of growth. Ursula is a proven transformational leader and visionary with 30 years experience in aviation/aerospace/transport/travel/technology. She previously held senior executive positions with aviation and travel groups such as Lufthansa, TUI, Aer Lingus, Brussels Airlines, Virgin Express, Kenya Airways, Air Malta, Lufthansa Systems.

This is part of a wider re-organisation, aligning responsibilities for the leadership team to best meet the needs of our customers today and in the future. Michael Huynh, Founder of Branchspace, has more than 20 years experience with technology and consultancy companies in the travel space such as Accenture, Sabre, ITRS Group, ebookers and EB2. Michael will take on the role of COO and Executive Director of Branchspace, ensuring the company builds a strong foundation of people, processes and strategic partners to scale to the opportunities ahead.

David Turton continues to ensure we deliver best in class technology product in his role as CTO. David joined Branchspace in 2013 and previously worked with renowned technology companies such as EB2, Sabre and Mobile Travel Technologies (now part of Travelport).

Radu Iliescu will lead Digital Solutions and Consulting at Branchspace, providing tailored solutions and services to further drive digital retailing innovation for our clients. He builds upon vast experience as a leader in the ecommerce, travel and banking landscape, working with the likes of Lufthansa Group, Brussels Airlines and Citibank.
