QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Branchspace works with major travel brands, including airlines, to design and deliver world-class digital applications.

We are looking for an ambitious Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team as we build out our innovative Digital Commerce Platform for airlines. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our office in Krakow, Poland.

The ideal candidate should enjoy the challenge of joining a demanding project. They need to take pride in delivering exceptional solutions to improve the travel technology industry and be part of the team to influence the technical direction.


What the role involves

  • Work within our cross-functional agile team to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle
  • Create and manage automated UI tests based on our test automation framework
  • Find opportunities to evolve our automation framework and processes
  • Work with our back-end team to create automated API tests
  • Plan, execute and analyse the results of automated tests across our applications
  • Support the team with the creation and execution of manual tests
  • Report bugs and errors to the development team (Jira, Confluence)
  • Help troubleshoot issues in our various environments including production

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience on similar positions
  • Understanding software testing process and methodologies
  • Experience in working with complex web applications
  • Front-end automation experience using JavaScript frameworks
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks e.g. Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cypress, Protractor, Jest
  • Familiarity with CI/CD frameworks e.g. Jenkins
  • English level: B2/C1
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Located in/willing to relocate to Krakow
  • Strong delivery focus – building solutions not just technology
  • Bonus:
  • Experience with load and performance testing (e.g. JMeter)
  • Experience with back-end automation (e.g. Java, Postman)
  • Experience with mobile app testing (iOS, Android)
  • Airline / travel agency domain / industry experience is a bonus
